TMA 6 asked us to combine voice, music and special effects, and create a one minute production that sells an idea that pushes for the betterment of society
I decided to create an ad for a social enterprise that my friends and I are starting. :-)
The Byaheros Impact Tours aims to provide socially-responsible tours and activity packages for travelers who are looking to expand their social, environmental and cultural awareness and for those who want to see the “real” Philippines and be immersed in the community.
I'm not really familiar with audio editing software so I used a lot of steps to come up with this crude product:
- video grab of "Tara na Byahe Tayo" DOT Tourism Jingle from YouTube
- convert this to audio using AoA Audio Extractor
- cut audio using Windows Movie Maker
- recorded narration using my Macbook's videocamera, then converted again to audio using AoA
- remixed audio on Movie Maker
Hah. But it worked!
